Chocolate Avocado Bread

Having PCOS does not mean you can not eat food that you love. I remember having a chocolate muffin at a coffee shop and thinking, I could make something like this and have it balance my blood sugar too! This was way back when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I also had a friend who owned an avocado orchard, so I had a lot of avocados to use to try this recipe.

Chocolate Avocado Bread

This is not your standard sweet bread, we use almonds instead of wheat as the base for the flour, but it will leave you feeling full and decadently satisfied.

Why This Recipe Works for Blood Sugar Balance

We have added ample fat to this recipe in the form of avocado and coconut cream. This allows for a richness in texture, flavor and in balancing blood sugar. Fat and protein help slow down blood sugar spikes.

The almond flour, avocados, nuts, and coconut flakes are all great sources of fiber as well. Meaning this will help you with blood sugar balance and bowel regularity, all while tasting great!
